What is The Torch Project?

The Torch Project started with the idea of expanding the Catholic presence within the DePaul community and beyond. We desire to let the love of God spread like a wildfire, touching the hearts of everyone it comes in contact with. We strive to let our faith shine through the darkness like a torch, just like God is the light of the world. There is nowhere we can go that he cannot reach us. There is a fire inside all of us that burns fearless, courageous, and strong, like the flame of a torch.

In this blog, we talk about issues that usually aren’t talked about in the church, especially relating to young people. Here you can also find gospel reflections, information on social justice issues, resources to guide you on your faith journey, events you can get involved in, playlists, and updates in the DePaul community.

Meet the Team

The people are the biggest part of Catholic Campus Ministry! They do so much for the community and overall, and they’re great human beings. Meet them down below and come into the CCM office to say hi!

“For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ, we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”

(Romans 12:4-5)
